SK Signet Inc., South Korea's electric vehicle (EV) charger manufacturer, announced on Thursday that it partnered with Gilbarco Veeder-Root, the world's No. 1 fuel dispenser manufacturer, at the UNITI Expo, a gas station industry exhibition held in Germany.
With this partnership, SK Signet will exclusively supply products to Gilbarco. Leveraging Gilbarco's global network will accelerate the supply of V2 ultra-fast EV chargers in 32 key markets, including North America, South America, and Europe.
Based in Greensboro, North Carolina, the United States, Gilbarco holds the largest market share for fuel dispensers in the United States and Europe.
Recently, the company has selected the EV charger sector as a new core business area and is accelerating its expansion efforts.
SK Signet plans to expand its revenue sources from the existing charging point operators (CPOs) to gas stations, supermarkets, and other areas where Gilbarco has strengths, thereby accelerating growth in the US and European regions.
