South Korea's two leading software firms TmaxSoft and Douzon Bizon signed a strategic business agreement on Thursday to link Douzon's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and TmaxSoft's middleware to jointly develop the enterprise information and communications technology (ICT) market.
Through this agreement, the two companies will integrate Douzon's next-generation ERP 10 and TmaxSoft's web application server JEUS, web server WebtoB, and HyperFrame, which comprehensively manages open-source middleware products, and will supply them in packages.
The two sides will also form a regular meeting body to share business and technology know-how in regular intervals.
"With this agreement, we will actively share and utilize our resources and capabilities in the ERP and middleware areas to find ways to provide the best technology needed for enterprise and public markets," said Lee Kang-soo, CEO of Douzon Bizon's ERP business division.
"As leading software firms in the domestic middleware and ERP market, we will contribute to enhancing the work efficiency and competitiveness of domestic companies through ERP system building," Lee Hyung-bae, CEO of TmaxSoft, said.
