South Korea’s CJ Logistics and Aidin Robotics recently signed a memorandum of understanding to co-develop and commercialize logistics robots.
Under the agreement, CJ Logistics will provide data on the volume and variety of goods processed at its logistics centers, Aidin Robotics will use this information to develop custom robotic solutions for handling and transporting goods.
CJ Logistics will also assist in the commercialization of the technology, ensuring smooth integration into the logistics sector.
The company's first project will be a piece-picking robot, designed to handle thousands of items of varying weight, size, and durability in logistics operations.
CJ Logistics will participate as a strategic investor in Aidin Robotics' Series B funding round.
