The event, hosted by the Korea Association of Autonomous Mobility Industry (KAAMI) and COEX, will be held from June 17 to 19 in Gangnam, Seoul.
This marks the first specialized exhibition for autonomous driving in the country.
Developed by Lotte Innovate, Dooroo Eye is an Internet-of-Things (IoT)-based robot designed to enhance security and safety through autonomous patrolling.
The robot patrols designated perimeters of buildings and factories at low speeds, detecting anomalies that could pose security or safety risks, thereby helping to prevent accidents.
Lotte Innovate plans to launch Dooroo Eye by the end of July.
The company is also developing an integrated service that combines Dooroo Eye with existing security personnel, aiming to create a synergistic approach and minimize security vulnerabilities.
Since February, Lotte Innovate has collaborated with autonomous robot service company Neubility to refine Dooroo Eye's hardware capabilities.
This includes camera-based thermal imaging, gas detection, and object recognition.
