Nara Space selected as IPEF's top-100 climate startups

South Korea's micro-satellite startup Nara Space Technology Inc. announced on Friday that it was selected as one of the top-100 climate tech startups by the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF), an economic cooperation group consisting of 14 countries including South Korea, the US, and Japan.

The company explained that it is the only space-related company among the top 100. More than 2,000 companies applied for this selection, and 10 companies from South Korea, including Nara Space.

The selection results were announced at the IPEF Clean Economy Investor Forum held in Singapore on June 5-6.

Nara Space said that it presented its satellite-based three-dimensional greenhouse gas observation system to government officials, global investors and development bankers at the forum.

Nara Space is currently working on the Narsha Project, which involves developing micro-satellites for greenhouse gas measurement, with plans to launch a specialized satellite in December 2026.
