SK shieldus, the unmanned security subsidiary of SK Group, announced on Wednesday it has signed a business agreement with Yokogawa Electric Korea Co. to expand security services for operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS).
The partnership, formalized at Yokogawa's headquarters in Seoul, aims to enhance the competitiveness of their OT and ICS security offerings through joint research.
This research will cover security diagnostics and consulting for manufacturing and production plants, as well as system integration, construction, and operational management services.
The companies will also share expertise on the latest technologies and global trends, and collaborate on identifying new customer opportunities.
Both companies intended to actively cooperate in securing joint business opportunities, strengthening customer touchpoints, and expanding their business through marketing and support services for new customer acquisition.
SK shieldus has specialized teams in OT security consulting and system construction, while Yokogawa Electric Korea has a cybersecurity center specializing in ICS.
