South Korea’s JLK Inc., an AI-based stroke care platform maker, announced on Tuesday that it signed a business agreement with medical consulting firm PT Kind Communication to export medical AI solutions to Indonesia.
Under the agreement, JLK will supply medical AI solutions such as JLK-ICH for detecting brain hemorrhages and JLK-UIA for detecting brain aneurysms to Siloam Hospitals, the largest hospital system in Indonesia.
Siloam Hospitals operates 41 hospitals and 30 clinics across Indonesia.
According to the company, the agreement was made based on a previous business agreement involving the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Siloam Hospitals, and PT, which aimed to facilitate the entry of domestic medical AI companies into the Indonesian market.
