Canada's No. 1 coffee chain Tim Hortons announced on Thursday that it plans to establish its second South Korean flagship store at the bustling Tehran Boulevard in Gangnam, Seoul.
The second flagship store will be housed in the Daechi Building near Seolleung Station. It will occupy a 492.3-square-meter retail space.
The area has a daily foot traffic of about 400,000 people. Recently, the number of startup tenants has increased significantly.
Following its announcement of launching its first store near Sinnonhyeon Station in September, Tim Hortons is gearing up for the opening of its second flagship store within the year, making a strong push into the market.
Founded in Canada in 1964, Tim Hortons has expanded its footprint to over 5,600 stores across 16 countries globally. With a 60-year history, the chain is renowned for using 100% premium Arabica beans in its coffee and offering a wide range of donut options.
