Kia Corp. on Tuesday announced its participation in the MSPO International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce, Poland.
This marks Kia's first appearance at the MSPO, Europe's largest defense industry show, now in its 31st year.
Kia's hydrogen ATV concept applies hydrogen fuel cell technology to existing engine-driven ATVs, offering reduced noise for safer mission operations and preemptive responses to global environmental policies.
The 4-seater cargo truck is a modified design of an existing model, equipped with a cargo bay capable of transporting both troops and weapons simultaneously.
Based on a Kia chassis truck, the mortar-mounted vehicle is a versatile asset adaptable to various operational needs.
Both small tactical vehicles come equipped with a 225 horsepower engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission and have been in production since 2016 for use by the South Korean military.
