South Korea's molecular diagnostics company LabGenomics Co. announced on Monday that it has signed a gene testing service supply contract with Amorepacific Corp.
Under the terms of the agreement, Amorepacific will provide consumers with LabGenomics' gene testing service "MySkin DNA" through its online shopping mall, Amore Mall, as well as offline stores. Based on the test results, Amorepacific plans to offer skin and hair care products.
LabGenomics will initially supply 3,000 test kits and has plans to further develop the business through future testing. The service is expected to be launched in earnest from June this year, following initial testing.
