CJ OliveNetworks, an ICT subsidiary of South Korea's CJ Group, said on Tuesday that it has launched an application programming interface (API) marketplace platform API Plex.
The platform is designed to make it easy for users to access information by exchanging data in applications. Companies can easily use the information they need for service operation and development by receiving information in API format.
API Plex was launched in the beta version in October last year and expanded its partnership with more than 30 CPaaS (cloud-based communications platform as a service) markets and diversified its service model.
The official version has added various industrial APIs required for businesses such as AI services, public data, and strengthened communications channel services.
In the AI market, CJ OliveNetworks included chatbots such as ChatGPT and AlliGPT from Korean AI startup Allganize, logistics optimization, virtual human, audio/video source separation solutions, human resource-based retirement prediction model solutions and AI document understanding solutions.
CJ OliveNetworks has also started operating a blog dedicated to API Plex and will offer a 10% discount promotion for all services used this year until the end of next month for new customers.
“We will make efforts to make cloud-based API Plex a significant platform in the data ecosystem,” said Nam Seung-woo, head of CJ OliveNetworks’ software as a service (SaaS) business team.
