Coreline Soft, a South Korean company specializing in developing medical artificial intelligence (AI) devices, said on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with France's Clinique du Parc - Elsan to supply its AI-based chest diagnosis solution Aview LCS Plus.
Aview LCS Plus, a solution for which a supply contract was signed, automatically analyzes and quantifies image data obtained from a single low-dose chest CT scan, and provides result sheets that can estimate the risk of lung cancer, emphysema, and coronary artery disease. It is a total solution for chest examination that helps to detect chest and other diseases all at the same time.
In addition to the latest contract, Coreline also signed supply deals with St. Augustinus Group, Germany's leading healthcare group, and AZ Delta, a large Belgian hospital, for its Aview LCS Plus.
Clinique du Parc, which decided to introduce Coreline's solution in its hospitals, is a major general hospital network run by Elsan, France's largest private hospital group. Coreline expects that the deal will serve as a bridgehead for selling its solutions to more than 100 affiliated hospitals within Elsan.
"We are doing our best to expand the European AI medical devices market by successfully entering France following the UK, Germany, Italy, and Benelux. We are aggressively introducing AI diagnosis solutions by highlighting improvements in diagnostic accuracy and enhancing work efficiency. We will focus on expanding our global sales with the European market at the center," said Kim Jin-guk, CEO of Coreline Soft.
Last year, Coreline Soft was selected as one of six companies across the world in GE Healthcare's startup discovery and development program "Edison Accelerator."
