SK C&C, an IT services unit of SK Group, said on Thursday that it had signed an agreement with Microsoft Korea to advance into the global market for digital healthcare solutions and expand the industry ecosystem.
According to the terms of the accord, "Medical Insight Plus Cerebral Hemorrhage," a cerebral hemorrhage imaging medical solution developed by SK C&C, will be registered on the neuroradiology category of Azure for Healthcare, Microsoft's cloud platform specializing in healthcare.
Medical clinics that want to use the solution can purchase it from Microsoft's Azure Marketplace and receive follow-up services.
With the latest agreement as momentum, SK C&C plans to enter the global market in earnest by working with Microsoft's in-country sales organization.
"Starting with Asia and Oceania, we will actively seek out various solutions for the global healthcare market as well as customized digital IT service markets in the medical field," said Yoon Dong-joon, head of SK C&C's Healthcare Group.
