South Korea's cybersecurity service provider SK Shieldus said on Wednesday that it had obtained ISO 14001, an international standard for environmental management from the International Organization for Standardization.
SK Shieldus was given high marks for presenting a specific roadmap for building an environmental management system with policies for responding to climate change, creating a circular economy, and improving energy efficiency.
"With the ISO 14001 certification in hand, we will establish an internal system that would enable us to manage environmental issues more systematically in all business stages," said Park Jin-hyo, CEO of SK Shieldus.
