GS Engineering & Construction Co. said on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with AirFirst to work together in the areas of industrial gas technology and environmental, social, and governance (ESG)-related programs.
The two companies plan to explore opportunities in domestic and international projects related to air separation units (ASUs), which are equipment that compress and purify air at high pressure to generate high-purity oxygen, nitrogen, and argon.
They are also planning to discover new business areas in ESG, such as those related to carbon-neutrality projects.
AirFirst is a South Korean industrial specialty gas producer and supplies industrial gases produced by a number of ASU plants in Korea to major domestic industrial customers.
