South Korea's Taihan Cable & Solution Co. announced on Tuesday that it has consecutively won three power grid projects in the US.

The total contract amount is 130 billion won ($94.1 million).

With these new contracts, Taihan Cable has secured over 330 billion won ($239 million) in new orders in the US this year. This surpasses 80% of the record annual order volume of 400 billion won ($290 million) achieved in 2022, the highest since entering the US market.

The newly awarded projects include one extra-high voltage project and two medium- and low-voltage projects.

The extra-high voltage project, worth 45 billion won ($32.6 million), involves constructing a 345 kilovolt (kV) power grid for a new semiconductor plant in New York State.

The two medium- and low-voltage projects, with a total value of 85 billion won ($61.5 million), will be carried out in the Los Angeles area of California.

Taihan Cable is securing projects in major cities on the East and West coasts of the US, including new power grid constructions, renewable energy linkage projects, and old power grid replacement projects.
