South Korean cybersecurity firm RaonSecure Co. announced Wednesday it established RaonMeta, a generative AI-based metaverse platform subsidiary.
RaonMeta will focus on businesses related to generative AI, blockchain-based digital IDs, and metaverse initiatives.
Its' initial project is a metaverse-based training platform called Metademy, which will provide high-quality content through partnerships with educational content companies.
Lee Soon-hyung, chairman of RaonSecure's board, will serve as RaonMeta's CEO.
Yoon Won-seok, the executive director who led the MetaDemy project, will head the Metaverse Business Division.
Park Hyun-woo, managing director of RaonSecure and head of their Generative AI security development, will lead RaonMeta's growth as the head of the AI research center.
