Redbrick, the developer and operator of metaverse platforms of South Korea, signed a memorandum of understanding with Microsoft Korea to cooperate on a project to create university campuses in the metaverse.
As more and more universities take their physical campuses into the virtual online world, Redbrick plans to build an open metaverse platform, based on Microsoft's cloud platform Azure, where it intends to create virtual campuses for both domestic and international colleges.
Microsoft will provide the latest technologies and solutions to assist Redbrick in building the cyber educational platform.
"We will be reborn as a strong metaverse company in the education market by taking advantage of our platform's high scalability," said Redbrick General Director Lee Kwang-yong.
