Kakao Mobility Corp., South Korea’s most popular ride-hailing app operator, said on Monday that it partnered with logistics firm Samyang Logistics to bolster its fulfillment services and expand same-day delivery capabilities.
Fulfillment services cover the entire logistics process, including inventory storage, packaging, delivery, and inventory management, offering sellers a one-stop solution.
Under the agreement, Kakao Mobility will connect Samyang Logistics’ transportation resources and micro-fulfillment centers (MFCs) with its infrastructure, aiming to expand Kakao T’s same-day delivery coverage to the entire Seoul metropolitan area by year-end.
Samyang Logistics will leverage Kakao Mobility’s advanced technology and logistics expertise to enhance its own delivery capabilities, offering same-day and early morning delivery options to meet the growing demand for rapid shipping solutions.
