Mirae Asset named as Best Securities House in S.Korea by Euromoney

Mirae Asset Securities announced on Thursday that it has been named “Best Securities House in South Korea” at the Euromoney Securities Houses Awards 2024, organized by global financial publication Euromoney. 

Euromoney is a global financial publication founded in the United Kingdom in 1969, which annually evaluates financial institutions around the world and recognizes the best in various fields. 

“Despite the high interest rate environment and geopolitical uncertainty, Mirae Asset Securities has recorded impressive growth through global expansion, new growth engines, solid profitability led by wealth management, company-wide AI investment and innovation performance and a strong IB franchise,” Euromoney said. 

Mirae Asset Securities' recently announced enterprise value enhancement plan is expected to add more than 100 billion won($75.2 million) in annualized earnings from its global business once the acquisition of India's Sharekhan Securities is finalized this year, and the company has a concrete action plan to pursue long-term shareholder returns.
