Kakao supports startups with cloud services

Kakao Enterprise, an AI-based cloud solutions service subsidiary of South Korea's Kakao Corp., announced on Thursday that it started the Rocket Launcher program, aimed at supporting the growth of startups through cloud services.

The program is divided into three tracks: Launch, Boost, and Grow.

The Launch track provides 5 million won ($3,627) in Kakao Cloud credits for one year.

The Boost track, chosen through a separate selection process, offers 20 million won in credits for two years and a six-month subscription to Kakao Work, a cloud-based platform offering a suite of business communication and collaboration tools provided by Kakao Enterprise.

The Grow track targets startups invested by venture capitalists and accelerators, which partnered with Kakao Enterprise. It provides 35 million won in credits and a six-month Kakao Work subscription for two years.
