The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on Thursday that it established the Paris K-Tech Camp in Paris, France on May 23.
KOTRA launched the K-Tech Camp in Silicon Valley, California, last Dec. to assist domestic export-oriented tech companies in expanding overseas. The camp offers support such as providing startup space, consulting, partner discovery, and local talent enlistment.
Following the launch in Paris this year, KOTRA plans to open additional K-Tech Camps in Singapore (Oct.), Helsinki, Finland (Nov.), and next year in Tokyo, Japan, and Dubai, the UAE. By 2030, KOTRA plans to operate over 30 camps in major regions worldwide.
The K-Tech Camp regularly provides open office space for 2 to 15 companies and flexibly uses external shared offices when demand surges during large-scale exhibitions and events.
