South Korean game developer DevSisters Corp. said on Friday that it signed a publishing agreement with Vietnamese game company VNG Games for "Cookie Run: OvenSmash" in Asia region.
"Cookie Run: OvenSmash" is a mobile game developed by DevSisters' development studio Press A, where players control characters from the "Cookie Run" series to engage in dynamic action skills and strategies in battles.
Through this publishing agreement, DevSisters and VNG Games plan to collaborate to successfully launch this new game in nine regions across Asia, including Vietnam.''
However, the service for the South Korean market will be handled directly by DevSisters.
"We aim to achieve positive results for this new title in the Asia region with VNG Games and create opportunities to further enhance the influence of the 'Cookie Run' intellectual property," a DevSisters source said.
"Cookie Run: OvenSmash" is a new title currently in development, aiming for release in 2025, with plans for global user testing in the first quarter of next year to validate gameplay and stability.
