K-Pop boy band Stray Kids will perform at the American Music Awards, a major music awards show in the United States.
The American Music Awards announced on Thursday that Stray Kids will perform at the “American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special” on Oct. 6.
The American Music Awards, which celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, is considered one of the three major American popular music awards ceremonies along with the Grammy Awards and Billboard Music Awards.
Stray Kids will be the second K-pop group to perform on the American Music Awards stage after BTS.
Last year, Stray Kids won the “Top K-Pop Album” category at the Billboard Music Awards and “Best K-Pop Video” at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The group kicked off their new world tour “dominATE” in Seoul in August and will continue the tour at Singapore's National Stadium on Sep. 28.
They will then visit Melbourne and Sydney, Australia next month and Kaohsiung, Taiwan in November.
