The "K-UAM One Team," an urban air mobility (UAM) consortium consisting of five companies, including Hyundai Motor, has announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Incheon Metropolitan City to collaborate on establishing a UAM service ecosystem and commercialization support.
This marks the first time that the K-UAM One Team has signed an MOU with a local government.
The team is a consortium formed in 2021, composed of Hyundai Motor, KT, Korean Air, Incheon International Airport Corporation, and Hyundai Engineering & Construction, with the goal of commercializing domestic UAM services.
Through this agreement, the K-UAM One Team plans to work on establishing UAM operational systems in Incheon's islands and urban areas, as well as the commercialization of UAM intermodal transportation services.
