Mom's Touch opens new flagship store in Myeongdong

South Korean homegrown burger and chicken brand Mom's Touch & Co. announced on Tuesday that it opened a new flagship store in Myeongdong, Jung-gu, Seoul.

Mom's Touch is expanding into central business districts in Seoul to boost its brand awareness to foreign visitors.

The new Myeongdong store follows the launch of large outlets in popular tourist hotspots such as Namsan Seoul Tower, Yeouinaru on the Han River, and Haeundae in Busan.

The Myeongdong store occupies the space previously held by Japan's Mos Burger for a decade.

The store consists of three floors and a large store with 100 seats.

To meet the demand during peak times in the bustling Myeongdong area, Mom's Touch introduced a conveyor belt system, a first for its stores in South Korea.

This system is designed to expedite and safeguard the delivery of products from kitchen to counter.

The new conveyor belt system, an upgrade from the one at Shibuya Mom's Touch in Japan, combines automatic and manual operations to improve production efficiency.

Mom's Touch tailored its menu to cater to the heavy foot traffic in Myeongdong, featuring popular items such as the Thigh Burger, Grilled Beef Burger, and Thigh Boneless Chicken.
