KT Studio Genie, a content production subsidiary of the South Korea's telecom giant KT Corp., announced on Monday that it had signed a global content supply agreement with Amazon's video streaming platform, Prime Video, for the romantic comedy Bo-ra! Deborah.
This marks the first worldwide collaboration between KT Studio Genie and Prime Video, and for Prime Video, it is the third global exclusive supply contract for Korean content.
Bo-ra! Deborah is a romantic comedy that follows the story of love coach Deborah (played by Yoo In-na), chic publishing planner Lee Soo-hyuk (played by Yoon Hyun-min) and publishing house owner Han Sang-jin (played by Joo Sang-wook) who pursues a casual romance.
"I am delighted that KT Studio Genie has entered into a worldwide partnership with Amazon Prime Video. We hope to introduce a lot of good content through Prime Video targeting the global market in the future," said Yoon Sang-il, the head of KT Studio Genie's overseas business team.
