South Korea's The Pinkfong Company, popularly known for its "Baby Shark" character, said on Friday that "Baby Shark’s Big Movie" received three Children’s and Family Emmys.
Bestowed by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), Children's and Family Emmys are presented in recognition of excellence in American children's and family-oriented television programming since 2022.
Baby Shark’s Big Movie is a co-production animation with Nickelodeon, a Paramount production company in the US.
It was nominated as voice performer, original song, and sound mixing and editing. Since its release on Paramount Plus last December, this animation has proven its box office power, reaching the Top 10 in 23 countries worldwide for all films.
