Hyundai L&C, a South Korean building materials company under the Hyundai Department Store Group, said on Sunday that it has entered the Chinese interior materials market by participating in a major trade show in Guangzhou.
The company displayed its flagship products, such as interior stone and decorative film, along with 30 new items at the Guangzhou Design Week 2023, China’s largest interior materials exhibition that attracted more than 1,000 companies from around the world.
Hyundai L&C has expressed its desire to carve out a niche in China by providing bespoke design solutions to local commercial interior firms, given the growing demand for such products amidst the country’s "living with COVID" policy that allows economic activities under strict virus prevention measures.
