KCCI to support Korean companies expanding into US

The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) partnered with the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles (KACCLA)  to address the challenges faced by companies expanding into the US.

KCCI signed on Thursday a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the KACCLA at the Chamber of Commerce building in Jung-gu, Seoul, to support the business activities of companies expanding into the US.

Under the agreement, the two organizations will jointly promote cooperation projects to meet the various needs of investing companies.

This includes investigating and supporting company challenges, sharing the latest policy and market trend information, and supporting network building with state governments, legislatures, and economic organizations.

KCCI has been cooperating at the federal level with large economic organizations in the US, such as the National Association of Manufacturers and the US Chamber of Commerce.

It plans to expand outreach to the US by collaborating with local governments and economic organizations in states and cities, including New York and Georgia.

KACCLA, established in 1971 to protect the economic development and interests of Korean Americans, is the oldest regional economic organization, with around 140 member companies.

The organization is actively involved in lobbying activities, providing business information, supporting startups, and has influence on state governments and legislatures.
