South Korea's medical care startup Doctornow Inc. announced on Wednesday it signed a strategic business agreement with global artificial intelligence (AI) healthcare specialist Mediktor to advance digital healthcare technology.
Under this agreement, both companies will collaborate and share their expertise and capabilities to innovate medical services and explore ways to develop the digital healthcare industry.
Doctornow, based on this agreement, will enhance its services by adding expertise and convenience to the user's health assessment in areas such as pre-screening and symptom search using AI technology.
They plan to build an advanced medical ecosystem by integrating these services with their existing hospital reservation and real-time medical consultation services.
Mediktor, founded in Spain in 2011, is currently present in 28 countries worldwide, including the United States, Germany and Mexico, with over 17 million users. The company utilizes cutting-edge AI technology, including natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning, on vast data validated by medical professionals.
"Through this collaboration, we hope to create synergy by leveraging the strengths of both companies, allowing more users to experience advanced healthcare services," Chief Strategy Officer at Doctornow Jeong Jin-woong stated.
Doctornow is a user-centered medical portal platform that has received accolades like the CES 2023 Digital Health Innovation Award and the 2022 Google Play Best App for Good Award.
