Cosmax China participates in Shanghai Beauty Expo

Cosmax Inc., South Korea's largest cosmetics manufacturer specializing in original design manufacturing (ODM), on Thursday that its Chinese subsidiary Cosmax China participated in China Shanghai Beauty Expo 2024, held from May 22 to 24 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.

The China Beauty Expo, now in its 28th year, is Asia's largest beauty and cosmetics exhibition, bringing together industry professionals from beauty distribution, retailers, manufacturers, and suppliers.

This three-day event featured participation from over 40 countries, more than 3,200 global companies, and over 10,000 brands.

At the expo, Cosmax highlighted three main themes tailored to the Chinese market: UV Vanguard and Naked Radiance, emphasizing sun care and base makeup research technologies, and "Out of Ordinary," focusing on unique appearances and formulations.

Cosmax attracted global visitors' attention by showcasing an extensive product lineup in cosmetics, health supplements, and pet products.

The exhibition included products from Cosmax USA, Cosmax Indonesia, Cosmax Thailand, Cosmax Japan, and Cosmax's affiliated companies, Cosmax Bio and Cosmax Pet, featuring their health supplements and pet products.

Cosmax plans to move into the Chinese cosmetics market with the multi-use makeup formulation of Lip and Cheek Balm and the so-called glossy Tanghulu Lip products, which are already popular in domestic and Chinese markets.

The company will continue to introduce differentiated formulations that cater to the trend-sensitive and experience-focused preferences of Chinese consumers.
