Kia Corp., South Korea’s second-largest automaker, said on Thursday it opened a heritage exhibition "From Moments to Movement," showcasing its 80-year history.
The exhibition will run until November next year at Kia360, the brand's experience space in Seoul's Gangnam district, offering visitors a look at Kia’s corporate identities, emblems, vehicles, and advertisements over the years.
This is Kia's second heritage exhibition, following last year’s “Movement with People,” which ran from August last year to May this year.
Kia has highlighted three main themes for this exhibition: "Bold," "Enriching" and "Progressive," pairing past and present vehicles that best represent each keyword.
In the Bold section, the first-generation Sportage, the world’s first urban sport utility vehicle (SUV), is displayed alongside the large electric SUV EV9, which has recently received global acclaim.
The Enriching section features the Pride, a symbol of the personal car era, and the EV3, a pioneer in electric vehicle (EV) accessibility, while the Progressive section showcases the Bongo 9 and a purpose-built mobility (PBV) vehicle.
The exhibition is open to the public without reservations, and on-site docent tours are available upon request.
