Hyundai Motor Co.'s electric sedan IONIQ 6 has been named the best electric vehicle (EV) by Kelley Blue Book, the US vehicle valuation and automotive research company.
Hyundai Motor said on Sunday that its IONIQ 6 has earned the title of Best Electric Car of 2025.
This marks the third consecutive year the IONIQ 6 has received this prestigious recognition, following its wins in 2022 and 2023.
Kelley Blue Book's editors drive and live with a given vehicle. We ask all the right questions about the interior, the exterior, the engine and powertrain, the ride and handling, the features, the comfort, and of course, the price.
The publication emphasized that the IONIQ 6 is not only a rival to the Tesla Model 3 but also a stylish, innovative electric vehicle boasting a blend of efficiency and design.
The IONIQ 6, which follows the IONIQ 5 in Hyundai's electric lineup, has also received notable accolades.
In 2023, it was named World Car of the Year at the World Car Awards, and last November, it ranked first in an electric vehicle charging performance test conducted by Edmunds, a leading US automotive review website.
IONIQ 6 has been named the most energy-efficient vehicle by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
In the US market, Hyundai’s IONIQ series sold 5,646 units last month.
