Korean Air Lines Co., the leading full-service airline in South Korea, announced on Friday that it will launch flights on the Incheon-Macau route starting July 1.
The airline will operate flights daily, maintaining a schedule of seven times per week.
Flights are scheduled to depart from Incheon International Airport at 9:15 PM and arrive at Macau International Airport at 1:10 AM the following day, local time.
The total flight time is approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes.
Macau, recognized as a Special Administrative Region of China, offers a blend of Chinese and Portuguese cultures through its distinctive streets and historic architecture.
The airline noted that with transport options like buses and ferries, travelers can easily commute between Hong Kong and Macau in just over an hour, facilitating visits to both cities in a single trip.
Korean Air Lines is ramping up efforts to bolster its presence in the Chinese market in response to growing travel demand.
The company is focusing on enhancing its market competitiveness and exploring new opportunities.
This initiative follows the recent resumption of services by Korean Air Lines on the Incheon-Zhangjiajie route on April 23 and the Incheon-Zhengzhou route on April 24.
