South Korea's POSCO International Corp. won the top prize at the 2024 Korea IR Awards, organized by the Korea Investor Relations Service (KIRS), the company said on Friday.

Now in its 24th year, the Korea IR Awards honor companies and individuals who contribute to developing capital markets through effective investor relations (IR) activities.

POSCO International attributed the recognition to its proactive IR efforts.

It includes the introduction of an AI-powered chatbot for investors, the adoption of an advanced dividend policy, and the announcement of mid-term shareholder-friendly initiatives.
