Hyundai Motor Co.'s premium brand Genesis said on Friday that it will continue its sponsorship of the 29th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), which runs until October 11, marking the eighth consecutive year of partnership.

The BIFF, which began with its first event in 1996, is Asia's largest film festival. Along with the Tokyo International Film Festival and the Hong Kong International Film Festival, it has contributed to the growth and discovery of Asian cinema.

During the BIFF, Genesis will provide over 100 vehicles, including the G90 Black and GV80 Coupe, as official cars for prominent film directors, actors, and festival officials.

Genesis will showcase the GV80 Black and GV80 Coupe Black models for the first time at the outdoor theater where the Open Cinema feature films are screened.

At the Genesis Brand Zone booth in the festival plaza, Genesis will display two electrified G80 models and a GV80 Coupe model, offering booth visitors a unique experience of enjoying both films and vehicles.

Reflecting the film festival concept, the booth will feature the Genesis Trailer Film Festival, where visitors can watch trailers of invited films from the festival in the back seat of the electrified G80, and the "Genesis Theater" program, where visitors can view short clips from the invited film "RM: Right People, Wrong Place" from the driver's seat of the electrified G80 or the GV80 Coupe.
