T'way Air Co. announced on Thursday that it will gradually introduce five new Airbus A330-900 Neo aircraft starting next year.

T’way recently signed a lease agreement with global aircraft lessor Avolon for five A330-900 Neos and is in negotiations to acquire five more by the end of 2027.

The A330-900 Neo is considered an environmentally friendly aircraft, with a longer range and higher fuel efficiency than the existing A330 CEO series, helping to reduce carbon emissions.

It will feature Airbus' latest cabin interior design, with wider seats for improved passenger comfort.

It will seat about 340 passengers, including business class.

T’way plans to deploy the A330-900 Neo on medium- to long-haul routes to Europe, the United States and Canada.

The airline plans to continue modernizing its fleet to help reduce carbon emissions and enhance its market competitiveness.

“With the introduction of the A330-900 Neo, which is more fuel-efficient and sustainable, we will provide better service and reliability. We will continue to offer reasonable fares and services, as well as expand our role as an eco-friendly airline,” said Jeong Hong-geun, CEO of T’way.
