South Korea's SPC Group and SK Telecom Co. signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate in various areas such as membership and business-to-business (B2B) operations, based on AI technology.

The first project involves integrating an AI agent into SPC’s Happy Point app. The two companies plan to enable users to check various products, store information and their point status offered by the Happy Point app through conversational natural language.

In the long term, they aim to enhance personalized shopping services, including customized product recommendations.

By combining SPC Group's expertise in operating franchise stores with SK Telecom's B2B infrastructure, they plan to develop store management solutions based on customer behavior data analysis.

They plan to launch exclusive bundled products for SPC franchises and small business stores in collaboration with SK Broadband.

SK Telecom's T membership and SPC’s Happy Point will be linked. Users will be able to accumulate Happy Points with the barcode within the T membership app.

When purchasing products through the Happy Order feature in the Happy Point app, they will be able to enjoy T membership discounts and points accumulation simultaneously.
