Korea Shopping Festa in Vietnam records $12.9 mn in export consultations

The Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups said on Friday that the "2024 Korea Shopping Festa with Lotte" export consultation event, held in collaboration with Lotte Mart in Hanoi, Vietnam, the previous day, recorded consultation results amounting to $12.88 million.
At this export consultation event, 80 domestic small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners, hoping to enter the ASEAN market, presented K-beauty and K-food products to 80 ASEAN local buyers, leading to 420 export consultations.
Six companies, including Donggubat, Seomin Fresh, and SP Company, signed business contracts worth $250,000 on-site.
Viewlap, which showcased its Water Barrier Sunscreen product, reached a verbal agreement with a Vietnamese buyer for exports worth $530,000.
