Sports utility vehicle GV80 under Hyundai Motor Co.'s premium brand Genesis recorded its highest half-year sales in the first half of this year, after it rolled out a revamped model late last year amid growing demand for SUVs.

GV80 sold 38,752 units worldwide in the first six months of this year, up 39.7% from the same period of last year, according to Hyundai Motor’s investor relations materials released on Sunday.

The GV80 was unveiled in 2020 along with the GV70 as the Gensis brand’s first SUV models.
