LG Electronics Inc. announced on Friday that its UltraGear gaming monitors were selected as the official monitors of the eSports World Cup (EWC), the world's largest eSports tournament, currently being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The EWC, which commenced on July 3 and will continue until August 25, features approximately 1,500 players from around the globe competing in 21 games, with a total prize pool of $60 million.

According to the company, LG UltraGear was chosen as the official monitor for this year's event due to its outstanding gaming performance.

The monitors are used in competitions for popular titles like League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, and Battlegrounds, where professional gamers showcase their skills.

Visitors to the event can also try out the LG UltraGear monitors at dedicated experience booths.

The LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitor, the world's first with switchable resolution and refresh rates, has garnered particular attention.

This product allows gamers to easily switch between a high refresh rate mode (Full HD, 480Hz) ideal for fast-paced action and a high-resolution mode (4K, 240Hz) perfect for visually stunning games, all with the push of a button.

The sound quality, a key element of the gaming experience, has also been highly praised.

This product is the first LG monitor to use a vibration film component to produce sound.
