A delegation from Special Integrated Logistics Zone (SILZ), the operator of Saudi Arabia's integrated logistics hub, recently visited CJ Logistics' Global Distribution Center (GDC) in Incheon, the South Korean logistics company said on Sunday.

The delegation, which included eight high-level officials such as Fadi Al Buhairan, CEO of SILZ, toured the advanced logistics operations at the Incheon GDC and discussed potential cooperation for a similar center in Saudi Arabia.

The Incheon GDC is a state-of-the-art global logistics center equipped with the Auto-Store logistics robot system.

This system enables logistics robots to locate products according to order information, deliver them to workers, and independently rearrange inventory.

CJ Logistics is constructing a GDC in the integrated logistics hub in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital.

This large-scale fulfillment center, capable of handling up to 15,000 boxes per day, is slated for completion this year.

It aims to serve as a logistics hub for Middle Eastern e-commerce by managing various processes such as storage, inventory management, and packaging, and dispatching goods to nearby regions.
