Hankook Tire & Technology announced on Tuesday that it extended its official sponsorship contracts with the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League, competitions in European football, until the 2026-2027 season.

Hankook Tire has maintained an official partnership with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for 12 years from the 2012-2013 season until this year, making it the longest-standing sponsor among Europa League sponsors.

Through its sponsorship of the Europa League, Hankook Tire aims to enhance the premium value of its global integrated brand Hankook in the Europa Conference League.

The company plans to increase the awareness of its global strategic brand Laufenn.

Laufenn is a strategic brand targeting budget-conscious customers in global markets such as Europe and the United States.

Hankook Tire also plans to expand its interaction with players and spectators through programs such as referee mascots during matches and introduce its efforts for sustainable product development, including the circular economy E.Circle in the production process of electric vehicle-specific tire brand iON.

Hankook Tire is enhancing its brand awareness with the sponsorships of sports clubs such as the Borussia Dortmund in Germany and the Doosan Bears in the domestic professional baseball league.
