US cosmetics brand Bath & Body Works enters S.Korea

The US-based cosmetics brand Bath & Body Works, renowned for its diverse lineup of over 250 fragrances, enters the South Korean market. 

Shinsegae Department Store announced on Friday that Bath & Body Works opened its first store at the Gangnam branch.  

Shinsegae Department Store had previously secured exclusive distribution rights for the brand in South Korea.

Founded in 1990 in the US, Bath & Body Works is known for its body products such as body wash, lotion, scrubs, and candles.

The brand operates over 2,000 stores across 43 countries in North America and Europe and is considered a leading masstige brand, offering luxurious quality at reasonable prices.

The first store in Gangnam will offer 301 products, including body lotion, hand cream, and candles.
