The French luxury brand Louis Vuitton will open a pop-up restaurant in South Korea. This is the fourth one since May this year.

According to company sources on Friday, the pop-up restaurant called "Woori Louis Vuitton”, will be opened on Nov. 17 in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul.

Louis Vuitton collaborates with South Korean chefs, credited with breaking new ground in Korean cuisine. This will be the first pop-up Korean cuisine restaurant of Louis Vuitton in South Korea.

Michelin-starred Korean cuisine restaurants participate in Woori Louis Vuitton. Cho Hee-Sook, owner-chef of Hansikgonggan got Michelin star in 2029 and was selected Asia’s Best Femail Chef in 2020.

Michelin one-star restaurant Onjium’s chef Cho Eun-hee and Park Seongbae will join the pop-up. Kang Min-goo, the chef of the Michelin two-star restaurant Mingles will present his dishes.

Louis Vuitton continues to expand its connections with South Korea. Especially, last April, the French fashion house staged a fashion show on the Jamsugyo Bridge over the Han River.

“Louis Vuitton reimagines the flavors and culture of Korea with South Korean chefs who are thinking about the future of Korean cuisine,” Cho Hee-Sook chef said.
