South Korea's Naver Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Naver Corp., announced on Tuesday it will participate in the Digital Classroom Project of Mongolia's Ministry of Education and Science to support the digital transformation of education.

Naver Cloud formed a consortium with a domestic edutech solutions company NSDevil, a Mongolian edutech consulting company Maxim Consulting, and Testera. The consortium plans to provide 22,000 Whale Space and Whale Book packages to 725 primary and secondary schools across the country.

Whale Space is a platform that offers various educational solutions in a web-based environment, while Whale Book is an educational device based on the Whale operating system. These allow teachers to monitor students' screens in real-time and share course materials conveniently.

The consortium will integrate learning assessment solutions from participating members like UBT Cloud into Whale Space to enable students to take exams in a safer environment.
