Korean Air Lines Co. will participate in the "Seoul Aerospace & Defense Exhibition 2023" (ADEX 2023) taking place at Seoul Air Base in Seongnam, Gyeonggi, from Oct. 17 to 22.

The company plans to exhibit actual medium-altitude drones, tactical reconnaissance drones, launching pads, and a multi-purpose mission platform.

It will also showcase platforms such as multi-purpose stealth UAV and Stealth UAV Squadron. Korean Air envisions itself as a comprehensive system integrator, encompassing projects related to launch systems and military aircraft performance enhancements.

Korean Air has been actively investing in drone development, having received certification as the first military UAV in South Korea in 2014 and acquired certification for tactical reconnaissance drones in 2018.

"Since 1979, we have repaired and improved the performance of over 5,000 military aircraft for both domestic and US forces," a Korean Air source said. "We will continue to take a leading role in key future technologies, driving the advancement of the aerospace and defense industry."
