Hanjin to open pop-up store for S.Korean fashion brand in LA

South Korea's Hanjin Transportation, a logistics unit of Hanjin Group, announced on Wednesday that it will hold a pop-up event to promote domestic eco-friendly fashion brands at Wilshire Grand Center in Los Angeles on April 21-22. 

In this event, 31 companies in Hanjin’s online shopping platform Slow Recipe, Swoop will participate. Slow Recipe is operated by Hanjin Transportation, focus on eco-friendly products. Swoop is a services of supporting South Korean fashion brands' overseas expansion.

Slow Recipe pop-up store's showroom will be divided into toilets, kitchens, bedrooms, dress rooms, and living rooms. In each room, customer can experience brand products related to zero-waist, plastic-free, and recycling.

Swoop pop-up will be designed to promote nine K-fashion brands to local fashion industry officials and buyers in the United States.

This pop-up event is organized by Cho Hyun-min, the youngest daughter of the late Hanjin Group chairman, chief marketing officer and the head of digital platform business of Hanjin Transportation.
