Medical platform operator Integration raises $8 mn in Series B funding

Integration Inc., which operates specialized platforms for medical personnel such as Traditional Korean Medicine doctors and dentists, has raised 10 billion won ($8 million) in Series B funding, the company said on Tuesday.

With this, the firm's cumulative amount of capital attracted reached 16.3 billion won.

TBT led the investment round with participation from Smilegate Investment, A Ventures, IBX Partners, Hana Bank, and Insight Equity Partners.

Integration established Korean Medicine platform startup Medistream in 2019 and has since solved the medical community's pain points through M&A with Denier, a startup that operates the dentist platform moreDEN.

The company has sequentially launched services for Korean Medicine doctors and dentists such as communities, online/offline lecture platforms, e-commerce, business indicator management SaaS, management services for outsourced Korean Medicine supply facilities, and dental clinics.

In particular, 72% of Korean Medicine doctors and students have joined the doctors' community Medistream, while the dentist community moreDEN and the dental hygienist community Cheese Talk are also showing rapid growth.

It has achieved quarterly sales growth of 27.5 times over the past four years, and its estimated sales in 2022 are about 14 billion won.

"We agree with Integration's vision of becoming an expert platform that provides services needed for doctors' office management," an official of TBT said.
